Dr. Sundaresan is board certified in general surgery. He specializes in emergency general surgery and trauma surgery. He is also skilled in surgery involving the stomach, small bowel, colon, appendix and gallbladder.
He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed a residency at Wayne State University and a fellowship at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Sundaresan enjoys spending time with his wife and children. They love to travel and experience new adventures. He is an avid hiker and often goes on backpacking trips both in the US and abroad.
