Funk is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in adult family medicine. He was the 2017 KEAP (Key Engagement Award Program) recipient at Atrium Health Primary Care Eastridge Family Medicine.
He received his bachelor’s and master's degrees in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports medicine at Indiana University and a physician assistant master’s degree at Bethel University.
Funk spends his time doing home projects with his wife Susannah and enjoying time together with friends and family. He also enjoys staying fit and active outdoors.
