Dr. Nathan Massengill is board certified in psychiatry with a focus on adults who are hospitalized. He treats mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, substance intoxication and withdrawal, anxiety disorders, impulse control disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
He has always been fascinated with how the mind works and how people's backgrounds and upbringings affect their psychological and neuropsychiatric presentations.
Dr. Massengill was the medical director of the Cone Health Behavioral Health Hospital and chair of the Peer Review Committee for the Division of Psychiatry at Cone Health.
He received his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed residency in psychiatry at the University of Toledo.
In his leisure time, he enjoys being outdoors, exercising, cooking, finding new places to explore and trying new restaurants.
