Dr. Ashri is board certified in internal medicine. He specializes in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society.
Dr. Ashri received his medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) in New Delhi, India. He completed residencies at Safdarjung Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh at Shadyside. He completed fellowships at Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College.
He is married with 2 sons. His favorite activities are running and hiking, but he also enjoys reading books, particularly those related to spirituality and psychology. Dr. Ashri and his family like active and somewhat adventurous vacations such as visiting national parks.
