In-person visits onlyI enjoy getting to know my patients and their families and tailoring the care and communication I provide to what they need. I’m passionate about preventable injuries, and with children, there are opportunities to teach and implement practices that could save someone's life.
I chose to practice pediatrics because of its diversity, complexity and ability to make lasting change. I value the opportunities in my dynamic and interesting role to care for babies, toddlers, adolescents and teenagers, all of whom have vastly different physiology and medical presentations.
I’m a pediatrician who focuses on caring for children who are hospitalized. My clinical interests include childhood injury prevention and firearm violence prevention.
I received my medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed my residency at Baylor College of Medicine Texas Children's Hospital.
In my leisure time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my husband, especially walking, hiking or biking on nature trails. I also like to read gripping mystery novels and discover new restaurants.
