Nichole Gaines is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She focuses on palliative care, chronic illness management and end-of-life directed care.
Despite the limitations a chronic illness can present, Gaines believes all patients deserve to live their best lives. She strives to reduce symptom burdens while helping patients navigate the social and emotional impacts of living with illnesses.
Gaines completed her family nurse practitioner training with a master’s degree and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, family and friends. Gaines likes traveling, trying new restaurants and exploring the surrounding areas near Charlotte. She loves working in her vegetable garden, making sourdough bread on the weekends and heading to the lake when the weather is warm.
