Biography

Dr. Aho is board certified in general psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry, and she holds certifications in electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
She practices at Atrium Health Behavioral Health Interventional and Neurocognitive Psychiatry.
Dr. Aho focuses on the needs of adults and elderly patients. Through the use of neuromodulation therapies, she helps people suffering from depression and other mood disorders find relief.
She received her medical degree from West Virginia University. She completed her residency and a fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.
During her leisure time, Dr. Aho enjoys the outdoors where she is an avid hiker and challenges her athletic skill by rock climbing.
