My training helped solidify that working with a team in an inpatient setting and caring for sick infants and children is where I thrive. My work as a pediatric and newborn hospitalist is more than a job, it’s an extraordinary honor.
I specialize in pediatrics with a focus on newborns and children who are in the hospital.
I received my degree in osteopathic medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my residency in pediatrics at the University of North Carolina.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, Matthew, and our families. We enjoy hiking, spending time on the water, eating sushi, traveling and listening to live music together, especially country music. I’m also passionate about global health, which has led me on multiple occasions to provide care to the people of Honduras with the nonprofit organization, Action for Education.
