Nikki Koklanaris, MD

Dr. Koklanaris is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and maternal fetal medicine. She specializes in maternal and fetal health, including hypertension, diabetes, preterm labor, preeclampsia and other pregnancy complications.

She traces her commitment to medicine back to a great-grandmother who did not survive giving birth. This legacy motivates her to optimize health outcomes for mothers and their babies. 

Dr. Koklanaris is the associate director of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Atrium Health CMC Women’s Institute. She has been named a Top Doctor multiple times by Charlotte magazine.

She received her medical degree at Temple University, completed a residency at Washington Hospital Center and a fellowship at New York University.

Dr. Koklanaris is married and has a son. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and walking the family’s very spoiled bulldog.
