Patel is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She specializes in treating diabetes and thyroid disorders.
She became motivated to seek a career in endocrinology due to a strong genetic history of diabetes in her own family.
Patel received her family nurse practitioner training at The George Washington University.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, trying out new restaurants and watching thriller movies with her family and her husband, who is also an Atrium Health doctor.
