Our society depends on nurturing, educating and protecting children, and it’s a privilege to be trusted to care for them. I love getting to know children and their families.

I specialize in pediatrics.

The daily enjoyment of working with children initially drew me to pediatrics, although the specialty appealed to me for many reasons. I appreciate the challenges, nuances and attention to details that require me to understand the human body at every age and developmental stage.

I received my bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at the University of South Carolina. I received my medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed residency in pediatrics at the University of Miami Jackson Health System.

I spend my leisure time reading mystery and fantasy novels, cooking new cuisines, hiking, swimming and shopping. I also like doing jigsaw puzzles, listening to music and traveling. My significant other and I have a goldendoodle dog and a cat.
