Poorvi Oza King, MD

Dr. King is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary diseases. Additionally, she specializes in pleural disease, occupational lung disease, obstructive sleep apnea and critical care medicine.

Dr. King has clinical interests in obstructive lung diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, pulmonary vascular disease, pulmonary infections and pulmonary nodules.

She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her medical degree at Ross University. She completed residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and a fellowship at East Carolina University.

Outside of work, Dr. King enjoys spending time with her husband, son, cat and 2 Labrador retrievers. She likes traveling, spending time at the beach, going for walks on the trails near her home with her family, working out and reading fiction novels.
