I am board certified in pediatrics. I care for patients from birth to 21 years old.
I decided I wanted to be a pediatrician in the first grade and never wavered from it! I love working with children and feel grateful to work in the pediatric practice I went to as a child. I enjoy seeing the variety of patients in pediatrics, whether for a well check-up or something more complex.
I received my medical degree at East Carolina University and completed a residency at Wake Forest University. Following residency, I served on the faculty at Wake Forest University as chief resident. I am a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, two boys and two dogs, a stubborn English bulldog and a lovable Labrador retriever. I enjoy running, traveling, swimming and just being outside doing activities with my family.
