Biography
"Health is life. Understanding and managing their health conditions helps my patients make informed decisions regarding their health so they can make the most of their lives and enjoy time with their loved ones."
Dr. Priscilla Tutu is board certified in family medicine. She focuses on geriatric medicine and is the associate program director of the Atrium Health Geriatric Medicine Fellowship.
She finds fulfillment by teaching and providing comprehensive care while serving as an advocate for her patients.
Dr. Tutu received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of North Carolina and her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She completed residency in family medicine at Louisiana State University.
When not supporting learners or geriatric patients and their families, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending quality time with her family and cheering for her favorite college basketball team, the North Carolina Tar Heels.
