Dr. Hasan is board certified in general, forensic and child and adolescent psychiatry. She specializes in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, anxiety, depression and eating disorders as well as performing criminal competency evaluations.
She is the assistant medical director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Atrium Health Behavioral Health, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center.
She was named a Charlotte Magazine Top Doctor and an Atrium Health Physician of the Quarter.
For child and adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Hasan is interested in treating the overall health of children and families and believes in the resilience of children. For forensic psychiatry, she is fascinated by the interface of the law and psychiatry.
She received her medical degree at West Virginia University and completed a residency and 2 fellowships at the Medical University of South Carolina.
In her spare time, Dr. Hasan enjoys exercising, reading fiction and cooking.
