Biography

Dr. Romero is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. She is RhMSUS certified (musculoskeletal ultrasound certification in rheumatology) and offers patients ultrasound-guided intra-articular steroid injections. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
She specializes in treating rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Sjögren's syndrome, scleroderma, inflammatory myopathy, vasculitis and gout.
Dr. Romero enjoys the long-term relationships she builds with her patients on an outpatient basis.
She received her medical degree at West Virginia University and completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University. She followed that with a fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and likes dancing, yoga, cooking and musical theater.
