Dr. Thommen is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. She is an attending physician who specializes in inpatient and outpatient mental health care for women during and after pregnancy.
She received her medical degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, formerly known as Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, and completed a residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Dr. Thommen has been named an Atrium Health Patient Experience Top Provider and she has received the Patients’ Choice Award twice. She was a finalist for the Teal Acorn Award.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her family, vegetarian cooking and gardening.
