“I was drawn to the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) setting because the infant patient population is challenging and also rewarding. I can use my knowledge and experience to create positive outcomes and improve the health of my patients. Building relationships with patients and their families makes my job very gratifying.”
Reagan Pence is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner. She focuses on caring for newborns.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Stony Brook University.
Away from work, Pence likes spending time with her children, watching them play various sports, spending time at the lake and watching movies at home. She values living in the moment and enjoying simple activities with her family.
