Dr. Rebecca Kasper is board certified in family medicine and focuses on general care for children, teens and families. She has a special interest in menopause and midlife women's health, contraception, reproductive health and gender-affirming care. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).
She is drawn to the interrelated nature of the human body and mind. She values the prevention and wellness she can provide through primary care. Her practice reflects her experiences as a public health professional, a physician practicing evidence-based medicine, a parent and community member.
Dr. Kasper has received a Duke University School of Medicine Pre-Doctoral Teaching Award and a Duke University Department of Family Medicine Resident Scholar Award.
Dr. Kasper received her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts. She received a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in health metrics and evaluation at the University of Washington. She completed residency in family medicine at Duke University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and child. They love being outdoors, running, biking, hiking and gardening. Dr. Kasper especially likes playing and listening to music, cooking, baking bread and finding new recipes.
