Dr. Pollack joined the Atrium Health family in 2013. She received her medical school degree as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University. She stayed on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University. She then completed a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky before moving to Charlotte. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in maternal fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has been recognized as one of the "Top Doctors in Charlotte" by Charlotte Magazine in 2014, 2015 and 2017.

She has a strong interest in maternal disease in pregnancy with particular interest in the management of diabetes in pregnancy. She is also interested in preterm birth prevention, cervical length screening and cerclage. She is passionate about educating and working with women and their families to make the best choices for themselves in often difficult situations.

Dr. Pollack is also a committed educator and serves as the assistant residency program director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. The program provides extensive experience for physicians in training with over 7,000 deliveries annually. Dr. Pollack ensures residents are well prepared to enter their careers in academic or private practice.

In addition, Dr. Pollack is involved in systemwide initiatives to advance maternal health care. She has a special interest and certification for the treatment of opioid addiction, an epidemic that is currently a national healthcare crisis. She works to improve access and treatment for those who need it the most.

Dr. Pollack is happily married and has a beautiful daughter. She treasures her time that she has to spend with her husband and young daughter.
