Biography
“I love taking care of women, and I was always drawn to women's healthcare. Pregnancy is a beautiful time, but it can also be a scary, vulnerable and hard time. I take pride in being a source of strength for my patients when things are not easy and when the news is not good. We will do our best to get through things together.”
Dr. Pollack is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and maternal fetal medicine. She specializes in diabetes in pregnancy, preterm birth prevention and cerclage, opioid-use disorders and medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including providing buprenorphine prescriptions.
She has been named a Top Doctor by Charlotte magazine for multiple years.
Dr. Pollack is an assistant professor of maternal fetal medicine in the Atrium Health Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the assistant residency program director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
She enjoys the complex problems of maternal fetal medicine and the opportunity to form strong relationships with her team, her patients and their families. For Dr. Pollack, it’s about working hard, showing up for people where and when it’s needed.
She received her medical degree, a master’s in business administration degree and completed a residency at Indiana University. She completed a fellowship at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Pollack is involved in various quality improvement and clinical research projects.
Her biggest joy is her husband and 2 children. They love riding bikes, enjoying their swing set and spending time with neighbors. In the rare minutes to herself, she loves to ride her exercise bike, read, watch movies and enjoy her husband's cooking.
