Rebecca Shavers is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who focuses on family medicine, pulmonary and sleep medicine and women’s health.
As a child, she became inspired to study nursing when her grandfather had open heart surgery. Shavers spent 7 years in cardiac critical care and then decided to advance her career with pulmonary and sleep medicine.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Winston-Salem State University.
Away from work, she loves spending time with her family that includes 3 children. Shavers especially likes good books and outdoor walks.
