Dr. Renyta Scales is board certified in general pediatrics. She focuses on newborn care and inpatient general pediatrics.
Children have always held a special place in her heart, and she appreciates the opportunities to watch children as they grow and develop. She especially enjoys providing care for term and late-preterm infants and their families during the first few days after birth and caring for children of all ages while admitted to the hospital.
Dr. Scales received her bachelor’s degree at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree at Pennsylvania State University.
Outside of work, she is active in the dance fitness community, particularly engaging in Zumba and MixxedFit classes. She also enjoys traveling to new places both domestically and internationally, exploring new adventures in the Charlotte area and spending quality time with her family and friends.
