Dr. Rhisti Shrestha is board certified in internal medicine. She focuses on primary care, including annual health exams, preventive medicine and care for acute and chronic medical conditions.
She finds internal medicine stimulating because it uses critical thinking and deductive reasoning to manage diseases that might otherwise become debilitating. Additionally, she believes in the value of primary care as a platform to maintain meaningful relationships with patients while working toward their health goals.
Dr. Shrestha received her medical degree at Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Nepal. She completed residency at Medstar Health.
She is married with 2 daughters. She loves spending her leisure time with family, hiking, going on long drives and reading, especially biographies, mysteries and science fiction books.
