Rhonda P. Patt, MD

After working as a pediatrician for over 15 years, I feel that I have seen nearly every scenario and can share my expertise with families who may be facing certain challenges for the first time.

I’m board certified in pediatrics. I have a particular interest in newborn and early childhood development, such as sleep, nutrition and brain development.

I’m the assistant specialty medical director for Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital and the site-based medical director for Atrium Health Levine Children's Charlotte Pediatrics SouthPark.

I have been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and Charlotte magazine Top Doctor for multiple years. I have also been recognized as a Vitals Top 10 Doctor - City in 2014, Vitals Patients' Choice Award in 2014 and 2015 and Vitals Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2015.

The personal connections and relationships that I develop with patients and their families are what inspire and motivate me to continue serving the community as a pediatrician.

I have wanted to be a pediatrician for as long as I can remember. I enjoy watching children and families grow and feel I have a unique opportunity to serve as a positive role model for children and teens.

I received my medical degree at West Virginia University and completed my residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.

I treasure time spent with my husband, a doctor, and our three children. When I am not busy driving my children to sports practices and watching their games, I enjoy playing tennis, going to the beach and writing about pediatric health topics for social media and print publications.
