Dr. Ricardo Quarrie is board certified in thoracic surgery. He specializes in adult cardiac surgery. His clinical interests include aortic aneurysms (a bulge in the aorta), aortic root disease, aortic arch aneurysms and chronic dissections, aortic valve regurgitation and coronary artery disease.
Dr. Quarrie received his medical degree at The Ohio State University. He completed residency in thoracic surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital and aortic specialty training at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Quarrie is married with 3 children. Most of his time outside of work is spent with his children at their many activities. He and his wife enjoy competing with each other to complete daily crossword puzzles, although Dr. Quarrie has yet to win.
