Dr. Boruta is board certified in pediatric cardiology with a focus on treating congenital heart disease.
His goal is to help each patient with heart disease achieve their fullest potential.
Dr. Boruta’s research interests include pediatric cardiac imaging and the care of children with congenital heart disease. He received his medical degree at Duke University. He completed residency in pediatrics at the University of North Carolina and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Colorado.
The Charlotte native is married to a pediatric gastroenterologist. They have a son. Dr. Boruta enjoys hiking, outdoor activities and reading, especially historical biographies.
