“Mental health plays a role in each person’s life. When people feel well mentally, they’re able to thrive in other aspects of their lives.”

Dr. Rikera Curry is a psychiatrist who treats adults for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

She is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Her research focuses on medical education and women's mental health.

Dr. Curry received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Duke University and her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
