I chose internal medicine and pediatrics, because this gives me the opportunity to care for multiple generations of families.

I’m board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. I treat patients of all ages and specialize in diabetes care. I am the site-based medical director at Atrium Health Weddington Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

I have been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for diabetes and patient-centered medical home care, a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care.

I’m motivated by my belief that caring for patients is a calling from God.

I received my medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a residency at the University of Kentucky.

I am married with two children. In my free time, I enjoy working in the yard and traveling.
