Dr. Shah is board certified in family medicine and specializes in hospice and palliative medicine.
Dr. Shah was introduced to his specialty after volunteering with a local hospice in Cleveland County, NC. He knew it was the right field for him during residency when he worked with a hospice and palliative medicine doctor whom he admired.
He received his medical degree at the Medical University of Lublin in Poland and completed a residency in family medicine at St. Joseph’s Healthcare System. He completed a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at The University of Texas in San Antonio.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his spouse and spoiling his dog. He also enjoys walking, traveling, taking long drives and watching sports, especially cricket, basketball, football, volleyball and the Summer and Winter Olympics.
