“I was drawn to neonatology because of the variety of conditions I can treat and the variety of environments in which I get to treat them. It is also the perfect mix of acuity and continuity of care. It’s an honor to be able to travel the difficult journey with the parents of my patients and watch them grow as well.”
Dr. Sutsko is board certified in general pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. He has clinical interests in neonatal respiratory management, medical education and palliative care. Dr. Sutsko is the medical director of the Atrium Health Neonatal Respiratory Clinical Practice Council.
He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Notre Dame and his degree in osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sutsko completed residency at Cooper University Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Miami.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his kids at numerous sporting events and trying to steal some time on the golf course.
