Ryan Wordsworth is a board-certified physician assistant who focuses on cardiothoracic surgery. He treats people with multi-vessel coronary artery disease and aortic and mitral valvular pathologies.
He became interested in cardiac surgery during the rotations of his training. He is especially drawn to the complexity of cardiovascular diseases as well as the surgical approaches and treatments.
Wordsworth received his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Cornell University.
He spends his time away from work with his wife, son and golden retriever. They especially like getting outdoors for hikes, boating on the lake and taking weekend trips to the beach and mountains. Wordsworth also plays soccer and guitar.
