Dr. Sandy Charles is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in cardiovascular disease.
Her clinical interests are in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, coronary disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, cholesterol disorders and women's heart health.
Dr. Charles has received multiple awards, including Best of the Best from Pride Magazine, Top Doctor from SouthPark Magazine, Parent to Know from Charlotte Parent Magazine and the Equity of Care Physician Award from the Charlotte Healthcare Executives Group.
She received her bachelor’s degree at Princeton University and her medical degree at Columbia University. She completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at New York University.
Dr. Charles loves spending time with her husband and 2 children, traveling, dancing and playing tennis. She also loves to read.
