Sandy Tuney is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner. She is a hospitalist, specializing in treating patients who are hospitalized.
Tuney wanted to become a hospitalist nurse practitioner so she could assess and treat a wide range of conditions while providing holistic patient and family-centered care.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Herzing University.
Tuney’s favorite activities outside of work include hiking, running, yoga, meditation and gardening.
