“I pursued a career in medicine because I care about helping others achieve wellness. Wellness can mean something different to everyone, and I enjoy developing relationships with my patients to determine their health goals and work together toward those goals. I strive to empower my patients through education and building trust and respect.”
Coburn is a board-certified physician assistant. She focuses on chronic disease management, including diabetes and hypertension, and preventive care.
She chose family medicine because she feels it is a privilege to care for patients throughout the many seasons of life, and she often gets to know the whole family.
Coburn received her master’s degree in physician assistant practice at the University of Southern California.
She speaks Spanish, including medical Spanish.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their senior dog, running and indoor cycling, dining at local restaurants and traveling. She loves cooking, baking, trying out new recipes and reading, especially fiction and memoirs.
