Video Visits AvailableBurgess is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She focuses on family medicine, chronic disease management, mental health and women’s health.
She is an advanced practice provider (APP). Her clinical interests include anxiety and depression.
Burgess is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the North Carolina Nurses Association (NCNA).
She received her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina.
Away from work, she enjoys most outdoor activities with her husband and 3 children. They especially love swimming, hiking, gardening, playing sports, traveling and visiting extended family. On her own, she likes catching up with friends, decorating, shopping and reading.
