Sarah Casanave is a board-certified physician assistant who focuses on critical care.
She is inspired by the complex and dynamic environment in the intensive care unit, which demands critical thinking and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver life-saving care. She especially appreciates the aspects of her job that provide continuous learning.
Casanave received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at East Carolina University.
Outside of work, she likes cooking, traveling and staying active. She and her husband share a love of outdoor recreation, including hiking, camping, backpacking, skiing, cycling and running.
