“I enjoy seeing and understanding the whole patient and carefully reviewing their complete history and exam with them. We are always learning more about diagnosing and treating neurological illnesses, and our progress has been most rewarding.”
Dr. Freiman is board certified in neurology, specializing in inpatient care and the diagnosis and treatment of stroke. She is co-chair of the Stroke Department at Atrium Health Union.
As a child, she witnessed her great uncle’s participation as one of the first patients to receive levodopa for early-onset Parkinson’s.
