Dr. Sawan Patel practices internal medicine with a focus on people who are hospitalized.
Rather than focusing on a single organ system or condition, he values the wide range of care he can provide as a hospitalist.
Dr. Patel received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his medical degree at Mercer University and completed residency at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
In his free time, he and his wife enjoy local and international travel, craft breweries and trying different cuisines.
