Scott Adams, DO

“I do my job to help others heal and be a part of their recovery process. I know health crises are frightening and I want to give patients and their families support when they are going through difficult events.”

Dr. Adams is a board-certified psychiatrist and medical director of Atrium Health Kings Mountain. He chose psychiatry because he feels it gives him the best opportunity to know his patients and understand their needs and wants.

He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State University, completed his residency at The University of Oklahoma and holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from The University of Tulsa.
