I was drawn to sickle cell care after working closely with patients who needed consistent support across many parts of the health care system. Specializing in this field allows me to build long-term relationships, reduce obstacles to care and help patients feel confident managing their health.
I’m a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a clinical interest in sickle cell disease.
I do this work because I believe every patient deserves a provider who listens, advocates and helps remove barriers to care. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with sickle cell disease by supporting them, empowering them and walking alongside them through every step of their care.
I received my master’s degree in nursing at George Mason University.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our son. Much of my free time is happily spent cheering him on at basketball and tennis, and I’ve even started playing tennis to keep up. I also love reading, especially thrillers and fantasy, and I stay active through dancing, exercising and taking walks.
