In-person visits onlyDr. Shashank Suresh is board certified in internal medicine. He specializes in rheumatology (inflammation of the joints, muscles, bones and internal organs).
His clinical interests are in systemic autoimmune disorders, such as systemic lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, inflammatory myopathy, scleroderma (hardening of the skin and connective tissues), vasculitis (inflammation of the blood vessels) and rheumatoid arthritis.
Dr. Suresh is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
He received his bachelor’s degree at Davidson College and his medical degree at Wake Forest University. Dr. Suresh completed residency at Indiana University and a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
