Biography
“Rheumatology providers are lucky to get to know their patients and families for many years. I’m grateful to help all children lead their best lives.”
Dr. Vora is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric rheumatology. She has clinical interests in vasculitis, juvenile arthritis, dermatomyositis and scleroderma. She serves as the quality improvement advisor at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Specialty Center.
She received an Atrium Health Touchstone Quality Improvement Award several times, was named a Charlotte magazine Top Doctor multiple times and was a finalist for an Atrium Health Innovator Award. She served on the board of the North Carolina Lupus Foundation.
Dr. Vora is the principal investigator for PR-COIN, Pediatric Rheumatology Care and Outcomes Improvement Network, which is dedicated to spread best care practices to every child with a rheumatology condition.
She also serves on the Steering Committee for the Childhood Arthritis Rheumatology Research Alliance and is an active member of working groups.
Dr. Vora received her medical degree and completed residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed a pediatric rheumatology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family.
