Simranjot Kaur Thind, NP

Family medicine allows me to help people in various stages of their lives. I’m passionate about empowering individuals to take an active role in their health. I see every patient encounter as an opportunity to build trust, educate and help patients feel informed and supported. I emphasize preventive care because proactive care can prevent many health complications down the road. 

I received my master’s degree in nursing at Western Carolina University, and I’m a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

Away from work, I enjoy hiking and being in nature with my husband. I recently had the opportunity to travel through the countryside of Japan. I have a Great Pyrenees-hound dog who keeps me active, even in her senior years. When I'm not spending time in the great outdoors, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, enjoying music and reading both fiction and non-fiction.
