Biography

“When you know you're doing what God put you on this earth to do, going to work is a pleasure. Long days don't seem so long, and hard work doesn't seem so hard. I commit myself to partner with my patients to help them achieve their health goals.”

Gardner is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.

She received the Atrium Health KEAP Award and the Values in Action award several times.

Gardner feels working in healthcare and helping patients is where she was meant to be. Internal medicine, specifically, appeals to her because it allows her to care for the patient as a whole person.

Gardner received her master’s degree in nursing at Maryville University.

She and her husband, who serves in the U.S. Army, have 2 children, Loralai and Xander. As a family, they enjoy being outdoors, hiking and canoeing. She enjoys horseback riding, reading thrillers and volunteering at their local church.
