In-person visits onlyI love general pediatrics because of the relationships I get to develop with families. I enjoy visits with my college-aged patients just as much as meeting new parents for the first time and helping them through those early stages of parenthood. The connections I make with these patients are rewarding and fulfilling. I love my job!
I am board certified in pediatrics and see patients from birth to age 22.
I have volunteered as an after-school tutor, a middle school sports coach and a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, so choosing a career taking care of children and adolescents seemed like a natural fit.
I received my bachelor’s degree at Wake Forest University, where I graduated with honors. I received my medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, an orthopedic physician, and our three children, including boy/girl twins and another boy. I enjoy fitness classes, playing tennis and attending live music and sporting events. I often incorporate these activities into my travel itineraries.
