Dr. Kwon is board certified in pediatrics and sees patients from birth to age 22.
She has volunteered as an after-school tutor, a middle school sports coach and a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, so choosing a career taking care of children and adolescents seemed like a natural fit.
Dr. Kwon received her bachelor’s degree at Wake Forest University, graduating with honors. She received her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, Tony, an orthopedic physician and their 3 children, including boy/girl twins and another boy. She enjoys fitness classes, playing tennis and attending live music and sporting events. She often incorporates these activities into her travel itineraries.
