In medical school, I discovered I had a natural connection with children, and that sparked my interest in pediatrics.
I received my medical degree and completed a residency at East Carolina University. I'm a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
My husband, Michael, who is also a doctor, and I have two sons, Nick and Grant. We are avid North Carolina State University sports fans and like to mountain bike, hike, play pickleball and work out together. I also like to cook and enjoy reading most all genres of literature.
