Dr. Stephen Jaqua is a pediatrician who provides general health care for children.
He is motivated by a sense of fairness and the belief that all children deserve good health. He loves learning everything from the fine details of molecular biology to the broad patterns of human behavior.
Dr. Jaqua received his master’s degree in microbiology at North Carolina State University and his medical degree at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. He completed residency in pediatrics at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital.
Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his wife and 2 joyful dogs, Nikki and Tessie. Dr. Jaqua likes reading spooky stories, playing volleyball with friends, riding his bicycle and playing Dungeons and Dragons. He is working on several personal projects to improve medical education in pediatrics.
