Dr. Melson is board certified in gastroenterology. He has a clinical interest in nutrition, and the treatment of liver diseases and digestive diseases, such as irritable bowel syndrome and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
He received his medical degree at the State University of New York and completed a residency at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Melson is married, with 1 daughter. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, cooking, gardening, reading and exercising.
