Dr. Paterno is a board-certified (OB/GYN) at Atrium Health Copperfield OB/GYN - Concord A and Copperfield OB/GYN - Harrisburg.
With more than 20 years of clinical experience, he specializes in minimally invasive surgical and nonsurgical approaches to common benign gynecologic conditions. This includes contraceptive needs, abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, premenstrual symptoms, urinary incontinence and perimenopausal symptoms. Dr. Paterno also provides comprehensive prenatal care and delivery for low and high-risk obstetrical conditions while collaborating with maternal-fetal medicine specialists
He received his medical degree at the University of North Carolina and completed his residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital.
Outside of work, Dr. Paterno and his wife enjoy spending time with their 3 grown children. They like boating, barbecuing, socializing with family and friends and attending college sporting events.
