Biography
“I enjoy taking care of females in all stages of their lives, from teenagers to those in their reproductive, menopausal and post-menopausal years. All these phases require a transition, a change in one's life that can be challenging both physically and mentally. I’m honored to help during those changes.”
Dr. Brown specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She has a clinical interest in the general care of pregnant women, including their deliveries. She also has an interest in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery for pelvic pain, as well as the treatment of heavy and irregular menstrual bleeding due to fibroids or abnormal hormones. She conducts colposcopy for abnormal pap smears (diagnosis for pre-cancer) and its treatment. In addition, she treats hormonal problems due to menopause.
She received her medical degree at the University of Vermont and completed a residency at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Brown is married with 3 children. When not working, she enjoys spending time with them and her extended family. She is an avid reader and loves reading books that align with her faith, as well as clever mysteries, biographies and history. She is physically active and enjoys swimming, running, riding her bike and hiking. Dr. Brown also dabbles in painting.
